Role: SQL Server Data Analyst Location: Austin Texas Duration: 6-12 Months Job Description: Client is hiring a Data Analyst to support the development and deployment of their Services IT Revenue initiatives. This data analyst will be responsible for supporting projects in a dynamic, fast paced, scalable agile environment. The data analyst responsibilities will include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design in order to provide operational support to Services IT teams. The data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities in support of IT launches and they will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Responsibilities: • Primarily responsible to acquire, understand, manipulate and organize data from various database sources. • Identifies areas of possible automation and / or improvement to provide better customer service and enhance problem resolution techniques. • Understand and manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures. • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. • Have good understanding of logic to create test data in preparation for test. • Ability to debug data transmission issues in ad-hoc mode. • Create incidents and effective follow-up with interlocks. • Communicate effectively with vendors, interlocks and other contacts within and outside project areas to ensure effective data transmission. • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Qualification • Simple to Complex SQL Queries using Oracle, SQL Server, MSQL, interpersonal skills, ability to work in matrix environment required. • Experience with Agile Development environments is preferred. • 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Knowledge of Secured File transfer protocols (SFTP), Massive File Transfer (MFT), APOS Renew process, TFS, Office skills preferred • Excellent Communications skills and proven consensus building skills • Enterprise work experience dealing with highly complex situations is strongly preferred • Strong analytical skills Thanks, Kevin ke...@riderconsultinginc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
