Role: LINUX/SOLARIS ADMIN Location: Albany, NY Duration: long term Interview: phone/skype JOB DESCRIPTON: 1) 7+ years of systems administration experience of Oracle/Sun servers running Solaris 9, 10 and 11 OS instances that utilizes SAN in enterprise environment. Hardware includes t series servers, m series servers and various sun fire v890, v490, v240, v210 servers using Oracle/Sun partition and virtualization technology. 2) 7+ YEARS experience installing Solaris 9, 10 and 11 from jumpstart/Solaris 11 automated install server, installing, configuring, hardening and tuning solaris containers(zones both sparse and full), LDoms and dynamic domains. 3) 7+ YEARS experience in performance analysis, tune, and troubleshoot Oracle/Sun servers utilizing Solaris’s native MPxIO, veritas volume manager, Logical Volume 4) 7+ YEARS experience with Application/ Middleware Integration for Solaris for either customer application software working with customer support staff or common off the shelf software.
