Can LiveCode apps be Notification Center enabled to appear in the Today view
extension?

this. It uses AppleScript.
on mouseUp
put LiveCode the environment into tTitle
put vers. revAppVersion() into tSubtitle
put long system time , the long system date into tNotification
displayNotification
