Curious about widget security

Given the huge breach with Equifax, I've been thinking about lesser, security issues. Does the browser widget save trackers, cookies, and other marketing type thingies? If so, I wonder if it would be possible to delete them upon closing an app. What do,you,think? Bill P William Prothero
