Did you check your account to see if it was available? The server was not down last night for more than about 60 seconds (as I well know, being awake for large portions of it). The message you saw sounds like the standard could not contact server message, meaning you need an offline license

Stephen, I'm confused. Maybe you are too? If you have a subscription to LiveCode, it remains current for the term of the subscription. If the subscription is cancelled your access to the purchased, commercial, Indy/Business LiveCode product will cease. This has been the case since version 6.0

We are currently having some server issues affecting login. We are working to fix this asap. In the meantime, to launch LiveCode disconnect from the internet, then launch. LiveCode will switch to offline working and it will no longer be affected by the issue. You can reconnect to the internet
