Relating to the datepicker widget I should once again acknowledge the basic work of Elanor (calendar widget) and Bernd (additions to the calendar widget) and hints/comments by Bernd. [The algorithms I used are translated to LCB from the LCS of Raspi stack "calendar 1-3-6-12" (Aug 2015).] The main interesting thing for me when writing this widget was to see that the following is possible (and *very* comfortable in LCB): 1. Paint the canvas for a fixed fontSize (say 13) "pixel-exact". 2. Then use simply an affine transform to scale the display (you have to reverse the transform for the mouse positions to get the clicks). You set this transform via the property pickerScale. ___ use-livecode mailing list use-livecode@lists.runrev.com Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-livecode

Community widgets
The following community widgets are now available as "fat" widgets, that is they are installed or removed for both LC 8 and 9 and they work identically in both. All widgets are available on "Sample Stacks" or via livecodeshare (as given below). An asterisk (*) indicates a new feature (and/or a removed bug). Community widgets #42-52
Two widgets have new features, that may be interesting for some of you. For your convenience here the long list. Currently available is by the newest hh-(un)-installer stack from "Sample stacks" or http://livecodeshare.runrev.com/stack/842/ [Download the installer and read the short scripts to trust it] Sep 18, 2017: SVG_Text 1.5.0 (#42) <-- click-through-transparency Sep 18, 2017: OrientedText 1.5.1 (#50)* <-- click-through-transparency Sep 14, 2017: hhProgress 1.2.0 (#49) Sep 14, 2017: ConvexHull 1.2.0 (#48) Sep 14, 2017: hhPolygon 1.2.0 (#47) Sep 13, 2017: IconGrid 2.0.2 (#52) Aug 20, 2017: DigitClock 1.2.0 (#46) Aug 20, 2017: BezierClock 1.2.0 (#44) Aug 20, 2017: ClockAround 1.2.0 (#43) Aug 18, 2017: TextBanner 0.0.1 (#51) Available via the installer are also DEMO-STACKS that show usage examples. The demo-stack of IconGrid uses also SVG_Text and ClockAround. "Click-through-transparency": The widget sends a message when a transparent part outside its _rotated_ textbox is clicked. We can then use the message in a script of our widget or card (for several widgets) to have a click-through. The demo stacks show an example how to do that. Community widgets
Made my first 'stable' versions of community widgets: #42: widget SVGText v1.0.0 #43: widget ClockAround v1.0.1 #44: widget BezierClock v1.0.1 #46: widget DigitClock v1.0.1 #47: widget hhPolygon v1.0.0 See 'Community widgets' (in the LC Builder-subforum): http://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=28020 The widgets revealed a display bug on Linux(Mint), I couldn't find a way to work around it. Widget DigitClock works by that on Mint in its unrotated version only. Hope now, that others will contribute too. ___ use-livecode mailing list use-livecode@lists.runrev.com Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-livecode
