Hi Herschel, I am unfamiliar with Hylafax. I don't think shell is going to cut it for your needs. What you may need is open process, write to process and read from process. Open process is kind of like opening a non-visible terminal, where the state of the program opened as a process persists

Richmond, if you undertake any interaction with RunRev that requires physical shipment, you have to expect very long delays. This happened with the printed docs years ago, and with other conference DVDs. Add Christmas/New Year into the equation (the UK does shut down for about 14 days at the end
