Martin, Excel has some built-in data reporting and display tools, accessible

You'll get better answers from others who know more, but two things

1) Revolution is a fine way to do this
2) Using Excel is not going to be the easiest way (very not); are you
stuck with that?

Hi there
I am looking to purchase Revolution, I have no programming experience but I
have a task I wish to tackle. This task is using an excel spreadsheet full
of reviews and articles, these articles are broken down into columns with
headings these headings are criteria within the article. (exa
ations could be done, depending on the situation, but I
bet such an approach would work.

Got a question...
Is it possible to update the Rev engine in a standalone without doing a

I have a stack that I have made into a standalone. The standalone, when
launched, opens other stacks that contain the workings of my application.

I think you might run into the scriptLimits problem with standalones.
As an alternative, how about scripting your own screenLock handler
which tests for the OS and either locks the screen or doesn't.

Paul,
Your app can be done in Rev. I would advise you to use some SQL

I agree with Troy. I'm building two fairly large-scale apps right now,
both of which have many requirements that are similar to yours.
The one area you'll find most difficult with out-of-the-box Rev is
