Server-less chat?

2010-09-19 Thread Shadow Slash
I had the idea from a simple Windows application called IPMsg (http://ipmsg.org/index.html.en). I wanted to make my own but somehow, I'm having a problem thinking up the concept of how to make it work. Can anyone help me get the logic? ___

.  There is no signup, everybody receives everything.  If any oneis not running the chat, that is OK.  A person can go in and out.  Choose some obscure port for now. On some operating systems you don't receive your own broadcast, so handle that. Dar On Sep 19, 2010, at 10:56 AM, Shadow Slash

Re: Datagrid Tooltip

2010-09-19 Thread Shadow Slash
If you are only going to need a static single tooltip, you can just edit the DataGrid Template connected to your datagrid. If you need it to have custom tooltips for each, you can code that into the FillInData handler of the Behavior Script. Hope this helps... :) --- On Mon, 20/9/10, Peter

GOOSE BUMPS

I just checked the RunRev homepage right now only to find out about LiveCode!! I suddenly felt that goose bumpy feeling when I first saw it and also when I realized that revMedia, revStudio and revEnterprise is gone from the product lists. There's just LiveCode. xP

Hi Mark, First off, is that a typo in your handler? - preopenstackit. IMO, that should be preOpenStack. Now for your problem, can you try this in place of your code instead? on preopenstack answer the utargetstack of this stack go to stack (the utargetstack of this stack) end preopenstack

I personally prefer it to be called Transcript though.because it just sounds unique and the sort. Plus SourceForge has officially accepted it as one of the programming languages around. And they call it Transcript. So I say and pick Transcript! :) --- On Mon, 20/9/10, Richmond

Umm you can simply upload the updated stack somewhere on your website and from the small client you;re going to make, you can use this script: open stack http://yourwebsite.com/somepath/yourstack.rev; --- On Tue, 21/9/10, Jim Schaubeck jimschaub...@yahoo.com wrote: From: Jim Schaubeck

Hi Walt, Umm, if I got it right, you simply want to get the source code of that certain page? If that's what you want to do, you can just use the revBrowserGet() function and retrieve its htmltext property. Best regards, Shedo Surashu www.ShadowSlash.tk Connect with me on LinkedIn.
