The Latitude and Longitude have to be in decimal form (you may have to
experiment a bit with +- depending on where your figures are coming
from), tDist is the viewing height in metres and tSpeed is an

It's been two long years with Rev Studio 2.5.1.
Has the launch command smartened up to launch documents to already open

Hi Yves,
The launch command has some peculiarities, but if you have a look at my
web page http://www.troz.net/Rev/, you can download my Launch.rev
stack which uses a combination of AppleScript Transcript to get the
correct file paths and launch. It also handles the problem of launcing

that the launch command provides me the option to define the exact path
to the application, but the user can move their apps around.

Alex,
Agreed.
This is not how I expected the launch command to behave either. It may be a
cut-throat measure to prevent OS's that create multiple instances of an app

Again, thanks to all for your help in this problem. When I
try answer
fileTextEdit; put it or answer fileTextEdit.app; put it, I get the
Pick window with the Desktop hilited.
First of all, it's not:
answer fileTextEdit
OR
answer fileTextEdit.app; put it
it's:
answer file
If I navigate back to the
Applications folder in this Pick window, none of the applications
are clickable, i.e. they are dimmed!
Try this:
do choose file as applescript
put the result
Then fiddle with the result as needed.
