Hello,
this was an issue in 2.7 back in 2006.
Now I encounter the same problem with a Rev 3.0 Win Standalone on some
(right now one) XP PCs. On my XP machines I can type the @ into any field
without problems. A beta tester of mine can't type the @ within revolution,
but all other programs.
Any
Moin Tiemo,
this depends on how you type it I guess. Are you a 3 key or 2 key @
typer?
You can get the @ symbol with either altgr + q or ctrl + alt + q on
Win. The latter one fails. However, I thought that had been fixed :-/
Anyway. Here is the workaround.
on commandKeyDown theKey
if
dyslexic fingers forgot the end if
on commandKeyDown theKey
if the altkey is down and theKey = q then
type @
else
pass commandKeyDown
end if
end commandKeyDown
Cheers,
Malte

Moin moin,
great :) I've never noticed the difference between the 2 or 3 key typing,
because I am always using AltGr - and you are right, with 3 keys it also
fails at my installation.
Thanks for the workaround!
Have a nice WE

Are you on the line again?
Getting there. :)
The whole incident also has its upsides. Needing to rewrite vast
amounts of code made the upcoming charts library a whole lot better.
Cleaner code. Faster. I am not unhappy with
Good to hear!
