Hi, You can install + manage the NFS gateway outside of Ambari. These
instructions are newer...
http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.1.10/bk_user-guide/content/user-guide-hdfs-nfs.html
For reference, checkout this Epic JIRA about install + manage NFS gateway from
Ambari...

vmkdev0027.persistent.com - Is the host which I need to add,
CLUSTER - Specified in the URL is my cluster name

HI,
Ambari 2.0 allows you to modify the database connection information from Ambari
Web. Ambari 2.0 documentation is here
http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.0.0.0/index.html and Ambari
1.7 - 2.0 upgrade information is here
Are you using Derby as the database? With Derby, the ability to configure a
second Oozie Server does not show.
Once you switch Oozie from Derby, there will be an option to add a second Oozie
Server. There is a bit more info here...
Hi, Did you restart Ambari Server? Wonder if you are hitting this...

Are you using ambari trunk or ambari 2.0.0 branch builds?
Also please confirm: your HDP repos have not changed (I.e. Are you using local
repos for the HDP stack packages)?

figure out how the new repo got injected.

Hi,
Take a look at this example. In this case, it builds the path in the index.html
page (doesn't use dot-dots but uses absolute paths)

Best not to hardcode the instance name.

You are correct that Ambari will grab the latest HDP 2.1.x maintenance
release repos if you are connected to the internet (for it to check for the
latest) and you select stack HDP 2.1.
But if you want to install an older version of HDP 2.1.x, do the following:

Ok. In Ambari 1.6.1, Ambari Web added the ability to add Ganglia Monitors

You can set configurations at the blueprint level (to apply to all

Will that help? Or will it just mean you will have to have a host_group
that you have to apply per host?
