In the release note of 2.3.0, it seems that spark 2. x is supported,
How about the compatibility with spark 1.6.x?
No short-term plan to include on master for now (so no release soon).

I've found that mapreduce runner is supported in beam from below links:

But I cant find the runner on maven.
