The document page looks pretty old. RHEL 7.8, 7.9 and 8 and Debian 10 have been available for some years, but the page is still referencing to RHEL 7.7 and Debian 9. However, the page has made the point: "Cassandra runs on a wide array of Linux distributions including (but not limited to)"

I am currently running Open Source Apache Cassandra 3.11.1 on RedHat 7.7. But, need to upgrade the OS to RedHat to 7.9 or 8.x. The site cassandra.apache.org/doc/latest/cassandra/getting_started/installing.html has listed "CentOS & RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) including 6.6 to 7.7". FYI.
