Hi All,
We have 2 Cassandra DC with below config:
DC1: In DC1 we have 9 Servers with 64 GB ram 40 Core machines. In this DC we
have Cassandra version: 2.1.4. And We have 2 TB data on each server.
Application is connected with DC.
DC2: In DC2 we have 5 Servers with 64 GB ram 40 Core machines.
centers.

Hi,
Are there any links/resources which describe performance measurement (latency &
throughput) for a Cassandra Multi DC Active-Active setup across a WAN network
(20Gbps bandwidth) with 5 nodes in each DC.
Basically, I would like to know how to measure latency of writes when
Hello everyone,
How are people running multi DC Cassandra across remote locations? Are
VPNs used? Or some dedicated application proxis? What is the norm here?
Any advice is much appreciated,
Alex
We built multi-DC right from the start -- two equal locations about 1000 miles
apart but on the same provider backbone so there was reasonably robust and
consistent connectivity between them. We did this using software ipsec to set
up tunnels between the private networks in each location, but
