Hi, I never deploy guacamole on Kali, I use Debian, CentOS and rhel. I use kali
for other purpouse, I don’t think is a great idea to use it for guacamole,
anyway, if you add debian’s repo you could find what you need but the risk is
to broke kali itself.
My 2 cents

Others have posted useful information around connection parms etc but
bear in mind you may be running into a specific Win10 issue around later
builds. This thread will explain that issue, and what to do to fix it:

Not sure if this is what is causing your issue or not, but with our Win 10
systems (both physical and virtual) we needed to set the following in Windows
Remote Settings for each computer.
UN check “Allow Remote Assistance connections to this computer”
Check “Allow remote connections to this
This is a problem with freeRDP build under Ubuntu, not a Guacamole bug. Using
the Guacamole docker packages instead is what saved me when forced to use
Ubuntu.
There was a ticket about this on the Guacamole issues list, but for the life of
me I cant find it.

Ubuntu 18.04. It works just fine when connecting to Windows 7 RDP, but
when I try to connect to WIndows 10 RDP it fails. Log shows a segfault.
Anyone faced this before ?
Here it is the log for guacd:

Greetings,
I am having a similar issue with Guacamole 1.1.0
Session is disconnecting 2-3 seconds from the attempt.
Should normal rdp session is initiated (MSTSC.exe) all works well.
Targets (wndows 10 machines on domain controller)
I built the guacamole on ubuntu 18.04 LTS server, tomcat

I was looking for such a sql statement
But is it ok or better is it safe enough to delete only the confirmation
flag without clearing the secret?
For our current project this question has no very great importance - the
real important question has been answered.

Thank you for the detailed answer.
You are right about using only the common portions. I saw this part of
documentation too but I was quite afraid to try because I have no experience
whatsoever in Java development.
However, now that I'm looking this part with more attention, it looks like
it may
