The version of Guacamole is downloaded from the Guacamole home page, but I
think I must have gotten the GIT version instead. Now I re-built the 1.4.0, and
I do not get the extension error anymore.

HMNsg seems like a slightly odd name - just to confirm, are you running a
standard version
