I think this may be due to the way Guacamole currently handles SSH and
telnet. Unlike VNC and RDP, where no display is given to the client until
the connection is established, both SSH and telnet provide a display with a
terminal while waiting for the connection to happen. From the perspective

I'm having an issue connecting to my linux server using SSH in guacamole,
RDP works fine but when I try to ssh to my machine it attempts then times
out.
catalina.out has this error

Please disregard this. I literally just figured it out. The hint was where
I was keeping the connection config info. I was using the adhoc connections
and prior to that, ldap. Once I set one up in SQL, it worked.

The TOTP module should be ready to go. The issue remains open until the
documentation is written, but coding is done.
It will be released with 1.0.0.
