People often send "unsubscribe" messages to this list (user@hive.apache.org) but that won't get them off the list.
To unsubscribe, you have to send a message to *user-unsubscribe*@ hive.apache.org as described here: Mailing Lists <http://hive.apache.org/mailing_lists.html>. Thanks and sorry to see you go. -- Lefty
