Hi, Igniters! We are one week from the Ignite Summit, the premier Apache
Ignite free virtual event on June 6th.

Check the schedule updates[1]. We have 3 new speakers on board:

Whiskey Clustering with Groovy and Apache Ignite

Paul King, VP of Apache Groovy, Principal Software Engineer at OCI

This talk examines the quest to find the perfect single-malt Scotch whiskey
using the K-Means machine learning clustering algorithm. It uses the
distributed K-means clustering algorithm from the Apache Ignite machine
learning library.

Ignite Powered Quantitative Analytics

Ali Ferda Arikan, UK Quantitative Analytics Lead at Cardano Risk Management

Ali Ferda Arikan will be returning to Ignite Summit to follow up on last
year’s Quant Revolution session, which covered how to combine a calculation
methodology with data in the form of software. This retrospective talk will
give new and returning attendees a look into his experience working with
Apache technology to solve quantitative analytics challenges, as well as
provide a sneak peek into Cardano Risk Management’s future plans.

How to Get the Most Out of Affinity & Data Co-Location in Apache Ignite

Peter Whitney, Solutions Architect at GridGain

In this session, Peter Whitney will demonstrate step by step how to use
these Apache Ignite benefits to the full. We will compare storing data in a
simple table vs. storing using Apache Ignite affinity abilities. We’ll then
execute example business analytics using SQL requests and compare the
performance.

Register now[2] to attend the Summit and chat with fellow developers and
Apache Ignite experts who will answer your Ignite questions at the
booth[3].

See you soon!
