we created dedicated branches in the past, but agree it doesn't make so
sense.
I would prefer to keep 0.9.0 with Eclipse 4.1 and upgrade trunk (so next
0.10.0) *only* Eclipse 4.2.
For Eclipse 4.3, I didn't yet take a look, but I don't think it will
require so much changes.

Is the recommendation still to build from trunk?

not yet, for now EIK supports Europa.
As there is not yet release of EIK (I will do that soon), the only way
is to use SNAPSHOT or build from trunk.
