I'm happy to announce that the Kudu PMC has voted to add Bankim
Bhavsar as a new committer and PMC member.
Bankim has been actively writing Kudu code for the last six months or
so. Aside from various bug fixes, his major contribution has been to
replace the existing Bloom

The files in /data/kudu/tserver/data are supposed to be sparse; that
is, when Kudu decides to delete data, it'll punch a hole in one of
those files, allowing the filesystem to reclaim the space in that
hole. Yet, 'du' should reflect that because it measures real space

As Dinesh said, our existing installation script is unlikely to work
on Windows as-is. But, you're welcome to manually install the
quickstart VM; you'll just need to do more work around networking. The
