Refer to the answer of Cloudera Community , before hive3, you can change the
default time zone of hive by changing the time zone of JVM.
For Hive3(maybe not your option), refore to the Hive JIRA,
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-16614, we can change time zone with
command like
