From source code(https://github.com/apache/kylin/tree/kylin5/src/datasource-sdk), we can see JDBC datasource is still supported in backend and it is still under development, but it is not show in Web UI at the moment. JDBC source is a high priority task, but if more users are interested in it, community developers may increase its priority.
