Re: Apache Mesos Community Sync

2016-01-13 Thread Michael Park
Our next community sync will be tomorrow Jan 14 at 9pm PST (looks like I
mistakenly said Jan 15 in my last email, sorry!).

We'll host this one online only, and will send out links to Hangouts and
OnAir tomorrow.

Please add your agenda items to the Google Doc
,
and subscribe to the Mesos events calendar at
https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=2hecvndc0mnaqlir34cqnfvtak%40group.calendar.google.com
for
future meeting schedules.

Thanks,

MPark.

Sorry for the late link, but you can see the youtube stream (and
 after-the-fact video) at: http://youtu.be/rJyT8xDzhcA

We also have a hangout link for those with agenda items, or those who
 have
lengthy things to discuss (ask if you need the link). For brief
 questions,
you can add them to the agenda or ask in IRC and I will relay them for
 you.

RE: Slaves does not send offers to master

2016-01-13 Thread aurelien.de...@gmail.com

just found the issue, it was with the whitelist. Masters silently discards the
offers without log message. I removed the whitelist and it start working.

I must have f***ed up something, as it works days ago.

Objet : Slaves does not send offers to master

Hello.

I'm installing a mesos 0.25 cluster at work. 3 masters, 4 slaves on Centos 7.1.

I was doing test and trying to start a new task via Marathon, but the tasks
never started, stuck in "Waiting for resource offer". I was thinking it was a
Marathon issue, but even a test task with mesos-executor did not start.

All the slaves are up (see attached state.json ), and resource seems fine,
nothing happens.

I tried to enable GLOG_v=2 on a slave with no luck, nothing useful (see
attached zip file).

I did not find the offers trace in the master log, I attached the master log.

don't really know where to search, I've tried to restart almost everything
(from zookeeper to slaves) with no luck. So any pointer or help would be really
appreciated.

Thanks.

Aurélien.
