As of now what I could understand is you want to automate your build so
that you could get a working model of your changes without a need to
restart OFBiz instance. I feel using Jenkins/Hudson could match your needs.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Apache Wink is retired and there were several API changes recently. It
is not recommended to follow this tuturial.

to do with the legacy-db.
How you connect on this db, where is define the data model relative to
this db. Do you define some crud service relative to entities that you
want to expose ?
