Conversion process usually time consuming operation and it would be bad if
whole room will wait for this process. Additionally in case of error during
conversion user might fix it and re-upload.
This functionality can be added, but I believe OM was not designed as
file-sharing application.

I made an installation with a live cd (ubuntu 12) and got a fonctional V2.0
after installation.
I upgrade to V3.02 white this action :
extracting zip file of V3.02 and copy paste to /usr/lib/red5
This works well.
Now I would upgrade to V3.03 and if I do the same action, it dosn't work.

Well, turns out that if compatibility view is enabled, and the first thing
through isn't the webs server telling the browser to use the latest and

I have followed the directions at,
