Hi guys, While I was trying to create external users via Python API I noticed this cannot be done as the only user creation allowed currently is the creation of internal users, with password verification. Still, as the Python code is fairly simple to understand, I dug into it and noticed the creation of external users would be easy to develop, so I ended up creating the following Jira describing the code modification : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-4738 As I'm not a committer in the Apache project, could someone with such a role implement it ? Although the modification is minor, it would be a major improvement on my Ranger usage.
