In my struts application I am using JNDI for fetching database connections.
I did this by defining a context in META-INF/context.xml of my application.
Here is what lies in my context.xml file:

I made the change as you suggested but this reported an error, you can only
specify
servlet-name or url-pattern. I removed the url-pattern and set the
servlet-name
appropriately.
It now seems to be working much better. Thanks again.

Is your included code 100% accurate? I saw this listing in your posted
web.xml which makes no sense to me:

*.do
Shouldn't that be:
HibernateFilter
action
*.do
There is no servlet named "*.do". Your url pattern would probably be the
"*.do"

I need help with struts forward with contextRelative set to false. Whan
ran, the struts prefixes module name in front of the path before
forwarding to a jsp page.
struts-test.xml (test submodule)
When /test.do is ran, the /test/root/test.jsp is accessed instead of
/root/test.jsp.
Firstly what version of Struts are you using? It probably doesn't make a
difference, but its always useful to know.
Could that call (or anything else) be affecting the attribute under which
the ActionForm is stored in the request? What happens if you retrieve the
ActionForm from the request after
