why don't you implement the SessionAware interface, so you have access
to the session. then you can add what every objects you want to the
session.hope this will help you.

with struts 1 I had used the forwards described in the struts-config.xml
without redirect to do that, but I am not able to do the same with struts 2.
any suggestion?
