I committed a fix for this in SVN a couple of weeks ago. I'd appreciate it
if you would build a the new version from SVN and test to make sure I got it
right.

Sure! I downloaded the latest code from Subversion and ran ant -
lib ../devlib.
The Dao component will be deprecated in the next version.
