Hi,
Also the quad view mode is European, which is really wrong.
You are placing the views in the wrong place Europe.
I want to make it :
Top|Perspective
Front|Right
Maybe there is a bug in RS7 Linux, because it's partially working.
Drag and drop views from the list does not always work

Most flags are Quad views interesting.
Thankyou Vesa for the solution.
As for making Z up, I think it is a sin in computer world since both OGL
and DirectX use Z for depth
it has to have a stars backdrop in the perspective view (left top) andstriped
backdrop in all ortho views
:D
Lol Gunnar!!!
Never ever use quad view myself.
Have to wonder what an Aotearoa Quad view might look like spirals maybe.

My point was that when a user (me) switches to the Quad-
view environment the input plane is _NOT_ locked to the
camera the way the default environment is and will cause
the kind of headache that I just went through .
Then this :
If you are in any one of the 4 views
: Quad-View -- solved
Turns out we need to right click in that view window and
select from the pulldown menu 'Input Plane/lock to camera'.
I think this could probably be fixed so that the default
quad-view has this set already , just as the default single
view is set .
studio
I changed back to the Quad-View since it is so nice to
be able to double click and have the view window expand
and contract back to 4 separate when it's required .
However , it seems that when I try to build something
in that quad view setup , the objects are oriented to
some odd input plane
