Thanks Vasiliy and Alexey for investigating and creating jira issue to fix it... Cheers... Re: Cache size in Partitioned mode as seen in visor
Hello Mohammad. I reproduce your use case of Visor Console. Now Console for command "cache -a" shows in the size column sum of primary key size and backup key size. In your case that is (15000 primary keys + 15000 backup keys) / 4 nodes = 7500. Created issue to divide cache size on primary and backup sizes: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-4356. -- View this message in context: http://apache-ignite-users.70518.x6.nabble.com/Cache-size-in-Partitioned-mode-as-seen-in-visor-tp9298p9363.html Sent from the Apache Ignite Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Hi Alexplz let me know if u got my question...or I need to explain more... For now can u can plz validate my understanding about cache size with backups in Partitioned modedoes backup count figure in visor cache size On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, Mohammad Shariq wrote: > Hi Alex > I will run the same in example in my personal laptop..currently bcoz of > security restrictions I cannot copy and paste the visor output and config > xml outside my corporate intranet...probably I will replicate the scenario > in my personal computer... > > For now can u can plz validate my understanding about cache size with > backups in Partitioned modedoes backup count figure in visor cache size > > > I am using > > 1.the examples-ignite.xml that is packaged with the ignite distribution, > and > 2. cache -a > 3. Re: Cache size in Partitioned mode as seen in visor
Hi Alex I will run the same in example in my personal laptop..currently bcoz of security restrictions I cannot copy and paste the visor output and config xml outside my corporate intranet...probably I will replicate the scenario in my personal computer... For now can u can plz validate my understanding about cache size with backups in Partitioned modedoes backup count figure in visor cache size I am using 1.the examples-ignite.xml that is packaged with the ignite distribution, and 2. cache -a 3. Visor output says...around 7500 cache size.. Re: Cache size in Partitioned mode as seen in visor
I have a partitioned cache size of 15000 and 4 server nodes with backup of 1. Through visor each node is showing a size of around 7500. Also, if I decrease or increase backup, the cache size on each node stays the same. I think since it is partitioned mode ...size of each node should be 15000/4 approx On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, Mohammad Shariq wrote: > I think I am not getting the correct cache size of nodes in Partitioned > mode. > > Can someone plz help me in understanding how cache size varies depending > on number of backups and is the size shown in visor includes backup copies > or not... >
