My apologies. I had forgotten to create the myid files for the two nodes.
Likewise, I forgot to provide the paths to those files (i.e.,
dataDir=/opt/zooDeployTest/zookeeper/zooDat/1 and
dataDir=/opt/zooDeployTest/zookeeper/zooDat/2) in the zoo.cfg files.
