web application. The cookie implementations (client and server side)
are examples of these utilities. You can remove this implementation
if you don't like

Nope. We believe Spring provides the same functionality that you'd get from
EJB.

If you use the commands described on the QuickStart Guide, it should work.

The command you're using pulls the 2.0 version of AppFuse, which is almost 1
year old.
