Dear Appfuse Users,
I've spent a whole day + some night time in search of a JSF ajax
framework which would play nicely with AppFuse:
1. jboss richfaces - multiple issues (read on jboss forums that
there is a dependency on ajax4jsf version >= 1.1.0) [STUCK]
2. ajax4jsf - since 1.0.6 (standard on current appfuse) is a bit
outdated, i decided to try 1.1.1 and 1.1.0; for both i got strange
behavior during the build (something like myfaces and ri are both on
the include path, and then it runs out of space on the heap during
passwordhint stage of web tests) [STUCK]
3. ICEFaces - disaster; no progress even after chasing forums for
every bit of detail. [STUCK]
4. tomahawk-sandbox - integrated smoothly, but the components
don't really work due to issues with dojo (or absence thereof ?? -
weird) [STUCK]
At this juncture, I reach out to the community for some advice and
help. I need to get my hands on some components-oriented (or not)
ajax framework. I would like to continue my AppFuse quest, throw me
a bone here, please.
