Fantastic! Great work and thank you everyone. Already installing in a
test env to give it a spin.

Hi,
I wonder if OpenStack allow combining several physical servers together to make
a big logical server and can divide that big server into some other smaller
logical servers?
Thank you very much, Hà
maybe attach some log will help

The Apache CloudStack project is pleased to announce the 4.1.0 release
of the CloudStack Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud orchestration
platform. This is the first major release from Apache CloudStack since
its graduation from the Apache Incubator on March 20th.

This is a very interesting question - I know I've asked for better control
over where VMs end up going, specifically to be able to ensure rack
locality for Hadoop nodes, but I don't know what the progress has been on
that, nor do I know whether there's a way of doing multiple storage pools

Hey Folks,
I am having a strange issue, my KVM system vm templates. My templates

Hello,
Has anyone tried running a hadoop cluster in a cloudstack environment? I
have set one up, but I am finding that I am having some IO contention between
slave nodes on each host since they all share one local storage pool. As I
understand it, there is not currently a method for using

Hi David:
I am not using the prebuilt RPMs. I just built the RPM packages by
myself from source code with a non-oss building method. And then installed
a CloudStack server with the built package to manage a VMware host, But
unfortunately it failed.

How about we start with what platform and what version of CloudStack.
Also - your agent.log timestamp and management server log timestamps
have a 30 minute skew, and the management server logs are remotely
related to adding an agent - can we see the actual time period that
you tried to add a host
1. No
2. Scores of folks report success in using ACS 4.0.2 built with nonoss
to manage VMware. (are you using the prebuilt rpms hosted at
http://cloudstack.apt-get.eu/rhel/4.0/ ??)
