Hi,
Can we download and install CloudStack 4.2 before it's released? Is this
the correct location to download:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/cloudstack/4.2.0/
Have been waiting for 4.2 to be released since July.
Looking forward to your reply, thank you.
Cheers.

Carlos, thank you for your efforts and prompt response.
I'm about to try it out right now. Had other urgent work and a weeding
over the weekend (not mine).
I will let you know, how it goes.

Well it's pretty easy.
1. Connect to Ubuntu (or CentOS).
2. Dl all from https://github.com/creategui/CloudStackImageScripts (make
it executable using chmod a+x createUbuntuCSimageXen.sh)
3. Fix URL in createUbuntuCSimageXen.sh like this:
This is odd. It downloads it as .3 for me. Hmm. I'll change it so that one
downloads the tar outside of the script and passes it in instead.

I've registered it another time, but using your URL directly, so it was
bziped.
It _worked_ again and i'm about to deploy another test instance from it.
The problem must not be in the template.

Regarding createVHD.sh, which requires XenServer with NFS SR.
Doesn't createUbuntuCSimageXen.sh basically create a RAW image?
If so, it could be converted to VHD using vhd-util:

Guys, I am following this discussion for a while.
And googling about the idea of converting a HVM template to PV, I found out
that it is an error prone task and the best thing to do is to create a PV

So, I did it,
