@justinestruch , for programs to be allowed to run on ports below 1024 they
need root privilege. Best practice is to run a proxy in front of cloudstack. It
is not advised to run ACS as ro

For testing purpose, we can alternatively add a static route in the virtual
router, so that the traffic from kubernetes pods/nodes will go through the
gateway of public IP ran

Why do we want VMs be able to reach the MS? they could go through the north net
if needed. It does not seem like a good idea to route them directly. I

We could add a policy routing rule in VR to forward the traffic to the
management server/ enpoint.url from instances via public interface. CC
