If I create an instance without HA compute offering,I can shutdown the vm in
the guest vm OS.
But If I create an instance with HA compute offering and use "shutdown" in the
guest vm OS,the vm will be started automatically after stopping.
I want to use HA but I don't need the auto-start feature.
Stop the VM from Cloudstack and it wont restart

Hi WXR,
The HA feature is to auto restart VMs.
Other than that you need a load balanced service to achieve HA.
The rest like data mirroring or synchronization is up to you

But a instance owner without the cloudstack UI privilege can not stop the vm
from cloudstack. So there is no way for him to stop his instance.

Probably agent is not running in the SSVM due to which no entry is created in
the host table.
please try building systemvm and recreate ssvm

To migrate a Root volume simply stop the VM
The button which migrates Hosts when the VM is running becomes a migrate
storage button when the VM is stopped
You have to be a Root admin to do this.

Hi, i have some problem with network configuration at xcp1.6.
Before creating the zone i create public network on xcp with some vlan, for
example, 50.
But after i launch the advanced zone, CS 4.1 create one more network 50
with Internal Virtual Network. Then in logs
[xen.resource.CitrixResourceBase
Are you using the Storage Network and if so have you assigned a VLAN?
It's possible that the storage VLAN is not configured correctly on the switches
in the new location.

Hi David,
The Catalina log grows up to 350K, it was so big. By the way, when the problem
happen, the tomcat service isn't started.
And I found some similar problem, but can tell what happened.
Here is the setupmanagement.log
http://pastebin.com/H1s8DGXs
I'll try go through the Catalina log.

Try running this
cloudstack-setup-management on the CS management server. I had a issue that the
