After you modified the superuser set on NetApp are your mounts still with
nobody nogroup?
We are using NetApp as well and have superuser set to any. Files as observed

Yes, I assume, they were like this all the time, but it caused no problem.
Because our Superuser setting was 'sys' from the beginning, which fulfills the
condition as

We are almost through our BLOCKKERs and most likely will be done
testing the solutions somewhere this week. Therefore Pearl and I, RM
for the (reverse) respective releases, want to create RCs by Friday
and at creating those call for a freeze on the release branches.

We already have requirement permission on the NetApp side, and we updated the
NetApp domain information in the client /etc/idmapd.con
