I would play safe and leave drbd run , but in single node mode (no peers).
As it won't replicate - it should be as close to bare metal as possible.

In 2.0.4, crm_mon gained a new --node option to show only status that's
relevant to a specific node or tagged set of nodes.
In 2.0.5, crm_mon will now also take --resource to show only status
Never tried this, but if you dd the unused DRBD device to a local block device,
wouldn't that work? You could also copy the contents file-wise, but both
methods require that DRBD is still operational. And very old fashioned: Backup
and Restore (maybe using tapes)
