Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have tried reload the corosync.conf. But it seems making changes in corosync.conf and reload doesn't modify cib config, and crm status output remains unchanged as well.

Hi,
Have you reloaded corosync configuration after modifying corosync.conf?
I don't see it in your procedure. Modifying the config file has no
effect until you reload it with 'corosync-cfgtool -R'.
It should not be needed to modify CIB and add the new node manually. If
everything is done

Both SUSE and RedHat provide utilities to add the node without messing with the
configs manually.
What is your distro ?

It is fine, unless you know what you are doing. In particular, in order to
add a new node, corosync should find it in first place and only then
pacemaker can add it to the CIB.
So I would recommend trying my
Hi Jiaqi,
The most reliable way to add a new node according to my practice is the
following:
1. update corosync.conf files among all hosts in cluster including the new
node
2. copy corosync auth file to the new node
3. enable maintenance:
a) sudo crm configure property maintenance-mode=true

Thanks for your reply. I'm using crmsh, are you refering to crm cluster add node command? It gives error on my cluster, when I'm trying to add ceha01 to a cluster by running crm cluster add ceha01.
