what's the right way to implement the following:
if the request is a directory
if the directory has no sitemap
create a simple directory listing like so:
otherwise
call the requests sitemap.xmap
end
end
as you can see, i need help with thr
is putting my own class/package/jar in WEB-INF a good or bad idea?
i've managed to keep all my documents out of COCOON_HOME by using the
mount-table.xml file. it would be nice if i keep my java sources
somewhere seperate as well, as i don't want them to get entangled with
the cocoon build process.

this is not true - if you want to use
then the schema has to specify that your id attributes are of type
xs:ID, as it says in the spec:
NOTE:In order for such an attribute to be used with the XPath id
what is the 'right way' to override the base xslt and all the rest? i
take it that simply rewriting the sitemap is not quite correct, since
it gets overwritten on rebuild. where is the right place for user
overrides to go?

i would like to have cocoon look at a document like this:
and finds its schema based on this catalog entry:
SYSTEM "schema://layout where/is/it/layout.xsd"
what i've done so far is write my own catalog, and reference it in the
cocoon catalog in context://WEB-INF/entities/

Sorry to say it, but it looks like both of the links to Wiserlabz:
