If it helps to have a title, I think Joerg's talking about Practical File System Design with the Be File System, by Dominic Giampaolo. He has the book online as a PDF: http://www.letterp.com/~dbg/practical-file-system-design.pdf Dominic's a smart fellow, and I always liked BFS.
