nd monitor the packet counting which will give you a kick start and later
you can try replying to arp requests to expose IP by which you will be able
to establish udp/tcp connection.. I suggest try udp first (I also only
worked with UDP in dpdk) and you will get a lot of help about this from

Hi,
I need some help getting DPDK working. I am running Ubuntu 20.04 with
a modified Linux 5.4 kernel, but I have also tried the stock Ubuntu
5.15 kernel with the same results.
Here is my NIC info from lspci:

I guess when KNI initialized it takes the traffic associated with the
functions it supports.
Can someone confirm that this is actually the case?

Hi everyone,
I have a DPDK environment setup and the buggy part of my program
concatenates a string. That string can be as long as it gets (lets say a
1,000,000 max characters). I run my program with *./program --lcores='0-4'*
I'm using DPDK's rte_malloc, rte_memcpy, rte_strlcat and rte_free

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am talking about the Intel N3000 FPGA
Hi
We currently use DPDK v.18.11.9 with a 10GBe NIC based on the Intel X722
chipset. We bind to that device using the command:
usertools/dpdk-devbind.py -b igb_uio `lspci | grep X722 | awk '{print $1}'`
and it works ok.
Now we need to bind to a different NIC, which is part of an in-house FPGA

right, CONFIG_RTE_MAX_LCORE_FREQS=64 is irrelevant here I think, something

what does "CONFIG_RTE_MAX_LCORE_FREQS=64" mean?

server is 96 cores)
- which part in config I need to change? (Sorry I am a noob) . Also, I am
using pre-built RPM to install dpdk, do I have to rebuild the RPM on 96
cores server

Hi David,
In the EAL log of your command “./build/l2fwd -c f -n2 -- -q 2 -p 3”, it showed
“ Port 0 Link Down”. So are there some problems in your port connection? Or you
can send packets to Port 1to check statistics.
I am new here too. Hope it can help you.
