Hi, but are you looking for people who have design abilities to design an
UI for the component... or directly the HTML implementation?
Thank you

I don't understand it but I've done what you've said... still no success.
I'll try to replace ArrayList by Array later...
Thanks,
Olaf

Olaf,
I see another thing that you are using Grid but there is no GridCell. It is
recommended to use at least one GridCell. Your table should be bounded by
GridCell.

I'm not sure what do you mean by "graphics object". ?
I've provided in my previous post link to code which at some point shows you
what kind of component we have.

Hi Chris,
Wow! :) Thank you for interesting in that. Some time ago Carlos [1] started
initial work on that creating separate branch in FlexJS framework repository
[2]. I encourage you to ask any technical things where to start in that
thread. [1].
In general you will have to work in framework
Thanks - I will look at that and come back to you for setting up the

Olaf,
I see that you are using ArrayList in that case you have to change for Table
in your css IDataProviderItemRendererMapper to [1].
Let me know if it helped.

Hi Piotr,
we are also interested on AMF. Do have more detailled information on that
„task“ ? Maybe we can help.

Thanks Piotr, but I've still no success.
To remove all other dependencies I've created a test project... and now I've
two issues:
1) As soon as the is part of UsersList.mxml, the compiler stops
working without any comment
2) In my origin project, the mdl:Table is compiled without problems (for
so, you want a UI that flexJS has to have to be unique and not only use the
material design lib no?
Thank you

Hi,
This topic has died, but I would like to get back to it. We still didn't
find any brave people who could prepare UI design for our Basic [1] set of
components. :)
If you are somewhere there do not be shy and help us! :)

where can we found a list of the graphics object are needed right now? just
to create a design poc and see if it would be ok for FJS?
Thanks

We have found that MDL components need to be nested inside elements.

Olaf,
Could you commit your changes to github. Did you change
IDataProviderItemRendererMapper back to Array once you start choosing array.
Additionally what version of FlexJS are you using ?

I'm one step further now:
The table shows one row for each array item.
But each row just contains the string "EventDispatcher" inside the first
column [1].
What I've done so far is:
- Replaced ArrayList by Array
- Set js:Group as root element
- Remove mdl:Grid
- Remove binding and populate
Make sure that you have updated NextGen plugin. I would also try to Open this
project in Moonshine and see whether you have intellisense problem and you
are able to build it.
Do not forget exclude in additional compiler options
"-html-template=src/main/resources/mdl-js-index-template.html
The mdl:Table contains some data now, yeah! [1]
The main issues were:
- I've lost the fx:Style source="resources/mdl-styles.css" assignment
during my tests
- I've passed just the relative path instead of the complete path to the
ItemRenderer inside the css [2]
But the binding still doesn't
Of course, it makes sense to build designs for those components that are
already there.
But maybe it would be also exciting what comes into your mind if you don't
think of the already implemented components but also of a complete modern
component set that fits all the needs of a modern
I had sent a sample of UI items sometime back however I received no feedback or
direction at that time.
I've attached a sample of options. I can do it but I need help knowing what
exactly is needed, how many styles, states, and specifics on code... I need a
task master.

Hi Trevor,
I see that there are some comments from other PMCs. In the last comments
Peter choose second row from your proposition [1] - Flat design.
Could you go with other components in that Flat design. Go with the pattern
where we can see how button behave on RollOver, rollOut etc.
If you

Done!
But please notice that this code doesn't compile for whatever reason.
It only compiles if you remove mdl:Table, but than it's even not working.
There's something broken (IntelliSense with VSCode also doesn't work).
I notice also that the
Olaf,
Just give me brief how your code look like. You have Group -> Table. Bead
ContainerDataBinding and try put simple:
[Bindable]
private var _dp:ArrayList; - to your Table
dataProvider={_dp}

Olaf,
Try to use Group from Basic set and then Grid if you need some features
related to that component.

This is the relevant code which includes the binding which doesn't work for
me [1]
Cause I remember there were some issues with binding in the past I've tried
different things:
public/private var, {this.users}/{users}...
ArrayList is still not working for me for whatever reason, even if I
This one looks pretty cool to me as well: https://snag.gy/Cu8Uek.jpg
If we have some better color options, it would be a very good start.
Thanks for creating this set. Sorry we took so long to get back to this.

I'll work on transitions and rollovers, etc. for the buttons and create other
components. I still have a working copy of Flash Catalyst so I might be able to
provide components that route??? Or straight CSS?
