According to what Cor writes, I should not have any trouble opening my
file then, but I still fail. Seems like a bug to me then. I checked my
build number, it's 502 as well. Should this be filed as a bug report?
I'd do it myself if anybody can give me a short guidance how and where
to.

This is why I always ask for the database engine (without ever getting
an answer).

Hi :)
This guide usually helps people post a bug-report

Note that is a guide, not a set of 'law's or rules. It should help you get
info together but if you have trouble with it then just post what you can as
you can always add extra comments or

Hi :)
The official download site
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/
usually detects which OS you are using and sets the appropriate one for you
automatically.
Use the 2 drop-downs that are beside each other to choose one for a different
platform from the one you are currently using.

Thanks, Jay,
That helped me refine it beautifully :-)
I love this feature of reportbuilder. I was able to eliminate the

Now I am going to attempt to repeat this with

Hi :)
I found the bug-tracking thing for them
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=72954atid=536236
Can you insert the image and text into the original using LibreOffice before
exporting as Pdf? Does that give the same error message? I think copypaste
might help.

Hi :)
Thanks for asking this list . For some reason your message seems to have been
missed by people on the list so i think it might be best to just post the
bug-report and see how it goes from there.

Excellent work Alex! It is really good to know people are keeping an eye on
this sort of thing. It's also good to know that an old system suddenly works
again.

Can people suggest some web-log hosts that allow for (f)odf documents

documents to be accepted?).
Thanks.

The download page at LibreOffice detects your OS so probably you always see
the Mac version
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/
On the box that says MacOSX click on the small arrow and choose Windows ;)
You can also select another language if the one suggested is not what you
wish.

I tried in 3.4.5 and it works there fine too. Ctrl-V creates a nice

They might like an example of a file that does work and one that doesn't.
