Has anyone else been getting duplicate messages from this list? For
the past couple of days, I have been receiving messages from this
list that I had already received 2-3 days earlier.

Using a Mac System10.8.5 and LibreOffice 4.1.2. I find I am unable to install
extension updates.
Here is an example error message:
Error while installing extension writer2epub.oxt. The error message is:
Cannot detect media-type:
Do you have the quick launch option checked/available?
For both Windows and Linux, that option causes the Extension Manager's
extension updating process to fail.
I do not remember what the error message was for that.
Also, have you tried to open the file with LO within the file manager

Yet another advantage of OpenSource.
To get Norton to take notice it will probably take tens of thousands of people
writing in to grumble. So it would help if quite a few people on this list
could grumble as that might be enough to tip the balance whereas for just 1
person to write in

I do not know of anyone locally that uses Norton's A.V. suite. I use
