Hi :) Using an external back-end might get around the Java issue. MySql/MariaDb and Postgresql don't need java do they? Also the internal HsqlDb back-end is being swapped out to be replaced by Firebird as the internal back-end. If that does work then maybe the reliance on Java will be over.

Thanks guys, Firstly, my apologies for the Reply to All issue. My fault I should have checked. Will try not to let it happen again. I have been using a pdf printer driver for years (using Primo PDF currently) but I was interested in the editable pdf' feature when using Export as PDF from LO.

I would not use a modified version of LO, that adds their logos [or other things] without telling the user that they have modified LO from the original version. I had one software do that and it took weeks of work to install the non-modified version so the modifications were no longer seen.
